Christian Initiation of Adults - RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the welcoming process through which the parish community receives adults into the Catholic Church. It offers formation and information about the Catholic faith to adults who are unbaptized, adults who have been baptized in another tradition and want to be in full communion with the Catholic Church, and adults who are baptized, but uncatechized. After a time of preparation, when an adult is ready to receive one or several of the initiation sacraments (baptism, Eucharist and/or confirmation), the rituals are celebrated at the Easter Vigil. For information, call the parish office.
